Harlequins

Another winter resident, the Harlequin duck takes its name from the multi-coloured costume worn
by the stage character of that name. And he is a pretty bird, outshining the browns of his mate. They start
to arrive in early fall, and stragglers can be seen till late spring. Take a walk on the
Seawalk on any given winter day, you'll see a few.
