Seeing Double

A domestic bird, somebody on Cranberry Lake must be rearing Muscovy Ducks, a handful

of these were floating around on the lake at the bottom of Drake St., yesterday.

Lovely shot. The reflection is so perfect I can see a hook on the end of the beak that isn't obvious on the duck.

I love reflections. When the wind is calm, our lakes are like glass. Unless there is a thunderstorm like last weekend. Wow! Glad it wasn't after dark. It would have been much scarier. - Margy

A retired life in Powell River, my home for over 40 years. Photos of people, events, scenery, birds, floral and whatever else happens to catch my eye between Saltery Bay and Lund. The photos will be a mix of current photos and those pulled from my ever growing archive, but all will be taken by myself. While Powell River is home, I do occasionally leave town, and that also will be reflected here.

Unfortunately I'm dealing with a few issues that require me to at least temporarily slow down on the photography and the blogging. The joys of getting old!

So I'll still post, but definitely a bit erratically.
