It says something about the state of our world that even in our semi-isolated little city, population
12,384, where you can't leave town without waiting for a ferry, the local RCMP felt
the need to have a fully-armed officer, C8 tactical carbine and all, on station at

ReplyDeleteStandard issue gear for a typical constable now looks like war gear...which I guess it is. And in the U.S. citizens seem to be arming themselves like this and going to war on as many innocents as they can find. (But we don't have to worry. Our congress has everyone in their "thoughts and prayers.")
